Bosbokrand

Bosbokrand

Bosbokrand is named after the bushbuck, a species of antelope, that favoured the area surrounding the town for grazing. The town was established mainly as a result of the growth of agriculture in the area and its first trading store opened in 1884. The farmers in the area mainly cultivate crops such as tobacco, cotton and vegetables.
